Founder & Principal

Before founding UOA Legal, he ran Anti-Bribery & Corruption at Shell SPDC, operating under a U.S. DOJ Deferred Prosecution Agreement — one of the harder regulatory environments in global energy. That’s where the instinct came from: reading risk before it becomes a headline, not after.

He’s argued before federal courts including the U.S. Court of International Trade, US District Courts, litigated Article 78 proceedings against New York State agencies, and built legal strategy for founders, executives, and investors operating across borders.

How he thinks about the work: map the commercial objective first, then build the legal structure that protects it — including the second-order regulatory, litigation, and mobility risks that single-lane counsel typically miss.
